This piece is inspired by Ragdoll’s original process of reworking recycled jeans, army utility bags, and deconstructed hoodies, now translated into a factory-built concept jacket that preserves the soul of the original one-of-one method. Custom finished within two weeks.
The jacket features a medium-weight construction intended for fall layering, blending multiple textures into one cohesive silhouette. The olive military shell references vintage utility bags, while the denim panels echo the recycled jeans that shaped Ragdoll’s early collections. Heather-gray sweatshirt fleece creates softness and balances the structure, maintaining the look of authentic reconstruction even when produced in a factory setting.
The 0099 stamp is a direct nod to the year Ragdoll’s Couture was born, symbolizing origin, legacy, and the evolution of a design language that began with true upcycling. Exposed fraying, intentional distressing, and raw transitions between materials preserve the handmade aesthetic even in scaled production.
A reversible metal zipper runs the full length of the jacket, extending beyond the hemline for a functional, slightly exaggerated finish that feels modern and genderless. The high ribbed neck, utility sleeve pocket, and mixed-material blocking reinforce the unisex, street-lux feel.
