My City Peplum Sweatshirt is a one of one upcycled statement piece created in honor of the designer’s hometown, proudly repping MY city. Made from a soft gray sweatshirt knit base, it features bold city lettering across the chest and a hand placed gold and silver stone patch on the body of the sweatshirt, adding texture, shine, and dimension inspired by vintage embellishment work. The peplum is constructed from reclaimed sweatshirt fabric and authentic camouflage sourced from a vintage military shirt, placed off center for an urban edge. The silhouette is finished with dramatic princess pleated puff sleeves with subtle fraying for texture and movement. While no two are identical, each piece follows the same pattern and silhouette, making every version extremely similar yet completely unique, wearable art rooted in city pride, sustainability, and personal legacy.
